What you'll do
You will be a part of our Connected Experience unit within R&D which includes Connectivity Platform, Infotainment, Driver & Vehicle Information, Car Cloud and Remote Functions as well as HW and Mechatronics.
Our mission is to provide a state-of-the-art infotainment system based on Android and Google Automotive Services with frequent deliveries to keep us in the leading position.
You will be working with a group of skilled engineers who are currently engaged in development and roll-out of new functionality in the System UI space.
You'll help the engineers in your team by removing obstacles and helping them grow. You'll contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership, prioritisation, and close collaboration with product managers, scrum masters, other teams and executives.
The team's tasks will span all the way from early concepts to rolling out large-scale and high-quality products. You will work with teams across the company, across the globe, across many functions, such as user experience, product management, and business development, and with external companies.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager for our Lund Engineering team. You are a person that have adopted a lean agile mind-set, applied a servant leadership, have good communication skills and can collaborate well with Volvo Cars internal stakeholders.

* Have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design, and hands-on software development.
* Probably have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Have strong people management, collaboration and communication skills
You are curious and continuously searching for new ways to develop. You are results driven and pro-active. You have a hands-on approach to problems where you learn by doing.
