Axis is now looking for the right person to fill a position as Engineering Manager to one of our teams within the Research & Development organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We build world class video management solutions for live viewing, recording and video playback, such as the award-winning AXIS Camera Companion and AXIS Camera Station. In our portfolio we also have AXIS Camera Management, a powerful and efficient installation and management tool.
The System Applications department is responsible for the development of our portfolio of client applications. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Engineering Manager for one of the development teams within the department. The Axis culture is founded on confidence, trust and personal responsibility. Your task will include both running the day-to-day operations and making sure that we have the right competence, processes and tools. Coaching the personnel as well as appraisal, development and salary talks are important parts of the position. You will be involved in discussions on product roadmaps, technical strategies, software architecture and following up on project status. Within the team we have project managers and engineers with experience ranging from newly graduated to many years. You will report to the director of the System Applications department.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You have management experience, as well as experience from software development. We believe you have an educational background in engineering with a relevant master’s degree. You’re an open-minded, cooperative person – a leader who can make people feel enthusiastic about their work.
