JOB DESCRIPTION
The Firmware Services team is responsible for the firmware upgrades which are based on components developed from different parts of the R&D organization. The team work with development of new firmware releases for our existing product portfolio but also takes responsibility for development of new functionality requested in customer projects on the market.
As Engineering Manager for this team you will be responsible for driving and developing a group of highly skilled software engineers. You will handle resource allocation, recruitment, do the budgeting and run the day-to-day operations in order to optimize the conditions for the team.
As Engineering Manager for this team you will be responsible for driving and developing a group of highly skilled and experienced engineers. You will have the overall responsibility for the team, your main tasks will include:
• Long term planning
• Allocation of resources to projects
• Follow up and evaluate projects
• Develop the team and its processes
• Budgeting
• Teambuilding
• Appraisal, development and salary talks
• Recruitment
• Sounding board for the engineers
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and driven leader with documented leadership skills and a passion for managing people.
We believe you have a master's in computer science (or similar) and preferably experience from software development in embedded systems.
