Shape the Future of Safe & Efficient Driving and Services with Us
About the Team
We support the Volvo Group engineering community with cutting-edge tools, verification methods, and data-driven insights. The Data & Release substream is a dynamic and newly formed organization within Safe & Efficient Driving (SED) at Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT). Our Test and Release team is at the forefront of verifying and validating the main ECUs that enable ADAS functionalities-and beyond. As vehicle functions become increasingly distributed across multiple ECUs, our challenge is to develop new verification frameworks to ensure comprehensive HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing for all our end-user functions.
How you will make an impact
As an Engineering Graduate in the Data & Release, you will:
• Participate in the verification and validation of ADAS and other vehicle functionalities at both HIL and SIL levels.
• Contribute to the development of new verification frameworks to ensure full coverage of our Functions.
• Leverage data-driven approaches to create dashboards that visualize software performance and quality.
• Automate data collection and analysis tasks, enabling the team to focus on insights and improvements rather than manual data handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our verification processes.
• Gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools and methodologies in a global, innovative environment.
We believe that you are driven, curious, and eager to learn. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about making a difference through technology and data.
You meet the following requirements:
• An M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Systems and Controls, or a related field.
• Strong interest and/or experience in verification and validation, especially HIL/SIL testing.
• Good programming skills (Python, C++, or similar) and familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., MATLAB, Power BI).
• A passion for automation and data-driven development.
• The ability to work in an international context and willingness to travel.
To qualify for the Engineering Graduate Program, you've completed a master's degree prior to the start of the program but not more than 18 months ago. You should not have more than two years' full-time working experience in the field prior to starting. You also need to be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
What's in it for you?
Our Engineering Graduate Program starts in August 2026, and you will be offered a permanent position at Volvo Group Trucks Technology with placement in Sweden, Gothenburg. These are some of the benefits of joining our program:
