Therefore we are looking for an Engineer CAE Structure Propulsion Integration!



Description

Position located within the Power Generation & PTI Systems team, which is a strong part of the unit Chassis Propulsion Thermal. The organization is responsible for requirement setting, design, and implementation for Power Generation & PTI Systems related components.

As an engineer you will produce FE structural analysis of powertrain and propulsion integration components and systems. Work together with design engineers to define the performance of the part. You will be an important part of defining the future systems and components to ensure fulfillment of strength and durability/fatigue requirements. You will communicate simulation results and status with responsible engineers.



Responsibilities as a Lead Engineer Power Generation & PTI systems:

- Structural Strength and fatigue life predictions
- Define and suggest changes of the components and systems based on your findings
- Perform Structural optimization FE analysis as agreed with design engineers
- Methodology development of structural analysis
- Correlation of structural calculation methods, based on physical measurements

We are looking for someone who has:

- University degree in engineering, within relevant area or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in the work area, from the automotive industry
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of vehicle structural strength and durability/fatigue
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Driver license B

To be successful in this role, you need to:

- Preferably good knowledge in some of the following software, HyperWorks, ANSA, Meta, OptiStruct, Nastran, nCode designlife and HEEDS
- Have good communication skills, create and maintaining relations Ability to plan, prioritize and work independently
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
