What will you do?
You will join our Core Platform Internal Chips team, that is responsible for the Linux kernel and drivers and making sure our internal chips can perform its best in terms of system performance, image quality, video analytics etc. This is the foundation for the majority of Axis fantastic camera products. The position is hands-on in a very skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth, teamwork and great spirit.
You will design and implement drivers, features and frameworks within the power management area making sure that our platform provides ways to optimize power usage across our camera product portfolio. You will work in the platform with Linux kernel and device drivers in the core runtime environment. You will work in a small team with highly dedicated colleagues and collaborate closely with our ASIC department.
Who are we looking for?
You have experience in working with software close to hardware SoC platforms and you are an advanced C programmer. In particular we are looking for an engineer with experience of and interest in power management software in hardware SoC platforms. You have a master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar.
You are challenged by, and enjoy, complex bug hunting, optimization and to truly enhance quality in the platforms and products we develop. You are an energetic and dedicated person with a strong personal drive and an ability to work unsupervised.
