With offices in Australia and Sweden, Organic Response is now recruiting for an Electronics Engineer to join our team in Habo, Sweden. Reporting to the Hardware Engineer Lead you will find no 2 days are the same. We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to create validation tests on new products and maintain automated test systems for testing of PCB assemblies.
Electronics Engineer - responsibilities:
Provide engineering support for manufacturing activities
Responsible for all product technical documentation and manufacturing processes
Responsible New Product Introduction (NPI)
Provide expertise engineering support to research and development
Owns product compliance and after sales technical product support
You will have:
3+ years professional experience as an Electronics Engineer
Degree level qualified in computer science, electronics engineering or related technology qualification, or equivalent industry experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Team player, capable of working with minimal supervision
Strong quality ethic and attention to detail
High energy, self-motivated
Analytical mind, with strong debugging, investigative and problem-solving skills
Along with:
Hands on experience in assembly & testing of complete electronics and hardware
Mechanical assembly and disassembly of products using manual and power tools
Excellent soldering of PCBs and general electronics
Cabling skills - cutting, stripping, crimping and preparing cables
Have good diagnostic and repair skills
Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic circuits
Inspect and test finished work using standard lab tools and test equipment
Periodic maintenance on production line tester fixtures
Excellent analogue and digital design skills
Experience with the use of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs
Experience with PCB design (Altium)
Experience with dealing with manufactures and component selection
Experience with embedded systems and micro controllers
Design analog, micro processors, some RF (BT), power supply
Experience working with high volume, low cost, high quality manufacture
Experience in design for safety and electromagnetic compliance
Experience in the following is also desired:
Experience with Building Management Systems
Experience in commercial project / product development
Radio Frequency testing
Low noise analogue circuits
Nordic Semiconductor and Microchip SoCs
Designing components with a variety of environmental sensors
Bluetooth Low Energy and wireless mesh networks
Agile development processes
Design for class II luminaires and control gear
