About the department and the team:
We're a group of tech enthusiasts, who are on the cutting edge of developing Husqvarna Automower technology for the consumer market, passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible. The team is responsible for new projects in robotics and also maintaining existing designs. We handle product requirements and transform these into detailed circuit board designs that can be produced by subcontractors and later assembled into finished products in our production. The electronics team consist of approximately 20 colleagues.
About the role:
From brainstorming to production; you'll be involved in the entire electronics development chain, designing and testing new systems with your team. The products that we work on here, the robotic lawnmowers, is a complex autonomous system. It is a high-tech machine, with a brain made up of electronics, software and mechanics.
Your work will include:
designing electronics by doing schematics, detailed component selections, performing simulations, and circuit board construction. You will also commission prototypes, troubleshoot, and make modifications to help prepare for high-volume production at our subcontractors and production factories.
working with all kinds of tools and techniques - like motor control, sensors, and the latest in wireless communication tech - Wifi, Bluetooth, High precision GNSS, and 4G.
And that's not all! You'll also get to flex your AI and camera skills while experimenting in some seriously impressive electromechanics. You'll also be part of the team responsible for EMC tests and certification testing.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or master in electronics engineering
• Working experience in electronics design/Hardware Engineering with experience (or interest) in robotics
