We are now looking for an Electrical System Engineer with several years of experience in the automotive industry.
With us you will be part of SEGULAs swedish automotive group that currently consists of about 30 engineers.
As an Electrical System Engineer you will work in our internal project team, but also at our customers.
We assume that you are a good communicator and an outgoing person with good interpersonal skills and customer focus. You are a down to earth and caring person who values the quality of your work. In addition, we see the benefit that you enjoy working in a team and enjoy a fast pace.
Main Responsibilities:
Create and maintain electrical schematics.
Perform design checks and corrections. Trace signals on a design.
Perform electrical and physical design rule checks.
Identify problems early in design process.
Manage sub system schematics.
Develop & maintain the power distribution system.
Support Wire harness and Junction box teams.
Support car builds across the different series.
Prepare the system modification sheet to track the design changes.
Responsible for schematics development utilizing ECDA tool (OEM depended).
Define the wire harness complexity together with the WH design Engineer and PL.
Attend design reviews to secure correct output to the plant.
Perform System Design Reviews with x-functional Lear and Customer teams.
Perform / support EDS systems design FMEA.
Participate in Customer Project and Engineering meetings according project set up.
Technical Skills:
Experience of electrical systems design in the automotive industry
Microsoft office applications knowledge
ECAD tool for schematics drafting as CHS, Transcable, IVED, Saber etc
Qualifications:
Civil or Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics engineering or equivalent
Ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English
Personal Attributes:
High stress tolerance
Fluent Swedish and English (verbally and in writing) and good documentation skills. German language is desirable.
Strong sense of ownership of complete system solution from collection of input data via design review and FMEA to schematic release and build support
Good interpersonal skills
Energetic and persevering
Accurate and ability to keep track of details
