We are proud product owners for components, systems as well as complete powertrains. We are accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. The majority of our powertrain components are traditional combustion engines, after treatment systems, transmissions and axles however the importance of e-mobility components is growing every day.
We stand in front of significant challenges - where reducing transport emitted CO2 emissions is one of the biggest - and are now adapting to take this on by simplifying and empowering our organization and way of working. As an integrated part of this we have high expectations to reduce development lead-time and cost and driving innovation and employee engagement through our leaders leading technology and people.
Responsibilities / Main tasks
Participate in the development & support of our engine test cells and the laboratory process systems. The position includes electrical design/CAD, working with a variety of control- and data acquisition systems, CE-marking, technical documentation etc.
It also includes working with electrical/safety aspects of engine hybridization within our test cells as well as troubleshooting of laboratory process and equipment in general. Knowledge of CAN communication network and additional technologies are appreciated.
Besides main focus in the lab/work shop our design team will need your support on electric related design topics, which is an work area that is becoming more and more prioritized connected to the electrification/hybridization of the drivetrain.

We expect you to be a person with a strong will to deliver. A positive mindset and "can do attitude" characterizes your personal profile. A strong interest in engine technology is highly rated.
You should be a skilled electrical engineer and have minimum a bachelor of engineer education or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills in Elprocad or a similar electrical CAD tool is required
Knowledge of process automation and machine/process safety is preferable
Knowledge of risk assessment and CE-marking is preferable.
Good English and Swedish (both spoken and written).
