The Job
As EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager at HemoCue you will be responsible for owning the EHS-direction for this site and you will report to Senior Director Operations. We take care of our employees and make sure we are in compliance with the Swedish legislation and the requirements from Danaher. HemoCue is ISO14001 certified, and part of the role is to maintain the certification and improve the Environmental work and the Environmental Management system.
You will, together with dedicated personnel from all departments, both in HemoCue and Danaher always work on minimizing our environmental, health and safety risks. This will be done by facilitating and coaching the organization to follow our procedures and guidelines. You will work independently and need a global mindset as you could be asked to help Danaher sites all over the world.
What you will be doing
In the EHS part of the Operations Department, we provide leadership and technical expertise in the development of strategies, programs and training within EHS. This is to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, ISO14001 and company standards. All this goes together in a positive relationship resulting in improvements in safety and reduces/eliminates EHS related business risks.
What we need to see
Bachelor or Master's in engineering (or similar)
Knowledge about ISO14001 and/or ISO45001, it is a plus if you have been an auditor in both
5 or more years of an EHS role
Knowledge about Facility Management
Knowledge in Swedish EHS legislation
Experience with establishing guidelines, to structure information and provide training
Used to work with authorities and consultants
Good communication skills in Swedish and English
Personality
