Complete Vehicle contributes to deliver Products & Services to all Volvo Group brand customers. In Complete Vehicle we are close to end customers, understanding their needs and behaviors. Our engaged teams have a holistic view of the entire truck and bring hands-on truck experience.
The Axle, Suspension, Steering and Brake Testing team is part of the Feature Verification and Validation organization within Complete Vehicle. Our responsibility is to analyze, verify and estimate strength and fatigue life for components and systems in the truck. This is done by testing and measurements in rigs and on proving ground. The Durability feature is vital to strengthen our leading position on Heavy Trucks around the globe and is in focus in almost all projects. For our customers, the Durability feature is of most importance to ensure uptime of the truck.
Today we are seven test engineers in the team and to strengthen our team we are looking for a new team member.
Qualifications
• Master of Science in engineering
• Genuine interest in the automotive industry and mechanical testing
• Practical work and curiosity to find out how things work drives and engage you
Experience from fatigue testing within the automotive industry and data acquisition in vehicles is considered a merit.
As a Test Engineer you work independently with full responsibility to manage your tasks and you cooperate with many different roles within the company.
