As Director VPS & Quality you will have the responsibility for coordinating VPS, Quality, Environment, Safety and Risk Management within the Skövde plant together with a highly skilled team of approximately 50 employees. You will report directly to the VP Skövde Plant, Group Trucks Operations and be part of the Skövde Plant management team.

Role Mission
• Be responsible for the overall VPS, Quality, Environment, Safety and Risk Management processes within the Skövde Plant, in Order to support the organization to achieve the agreed objectives.
• Actively participate both in the management team of Skövde Plant and in corresponding regional networks within PTP.
• Manage the VPS and Quality organization with specialists, to support the value flow with a good VPS-culture having the zero defect mindset in focus.
Main Activities and Responsibilities

Manage:
• Quality project and production processes including product audits
• The production/ management system
• Internal and external audits
• The environment, health, safety and risk management team

Coordinate:
• The focus areas within the plant
• Best practice and award ceremonies
• To make VPS=Management system to always be the way we are working

Critical Competencies for the Position
• Good knowledge in safety, environment and quality processes
• Knowledge of ISO system as well as VPS and focus areas, including management criteria
• University/Masters degree or equivalent and ability to demonstrate successful production leadership
• Good understanding of the business and ability to take a holistic view
• Proficiency in the English language is required
• Good skills in motivating and influencing your own and other organizations.
