We continue to grow rapidly and are now looking for a technically-minded and business-oriented Director of Technical Sales to lead our teams of solution engineers and technical integration specialists at our head office in Stockholm.

Our Technical Sales team is responsible for engaging with and advising our merchants during the whole sales cycle and sometimes even after they go live with our services. As Director Technical Sales you will lead and be responsible for the implementation of Klarna's services at some of the leading e-commerce merchants in our biggest market. This means that you will work actively with key departments within the company to implement Klarna?s products, consulting with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will support our sales team in their work, often acting as the link between our sales and engineering departments, which demands a technical understanding combined with a business oriented mindset. You will be based in our HQ in Stockholm with a highly energetic and dedicated technical sales team.

You have fantastic leadership skills and a sound appreciation for the link between product and business. You communicate effectively in both English and Swedish while thoroughly enjoying the social aspects of work. Most likely you are accustomed to a managerial role having managed employees with a technical background before. While previous experience from payment solutions is not a requirement, you will almost certainly have designed or implemented complex software solutions for large clients in one way or another in your career. You are a social individual who thrives from client contact and handling problems for external parties. You enjoy working in a high pace environment and handling several project simultaneously. You love challenges and troubleshooting and while leading comes naturally to you, you appreciate the experience of a successful team effort.
