Electronic Defence Systems, a business area of Saab, is one of the world's premier suppliers of solutions for surveillance, avionics and systems to detect, locate and protect against threat.
In Operations Järfälla, we develop and produce different products within the electronic warfare and radar.
We are looking for a Process Management Assistant to Operational Excellence. The Operational Excellence department has overall responsibility for Lean, efficiency initiatives, Quality Assurance/Management, Configuration Management and Process Management in the organisation. We contribute to a more efficient, suitable and user-friendly work environment for everyone working within Operations Järfälla. We are currently involved in LEAN activities and always strive to develop our existing working processes.
Your role
We are looking for someone who has a keen interest and respect for Quality matters and specifically processes and process flow. The position is to work with process management. We are currently changing from an old Business Management System to a new and unified Management System. This requires working in process forums to identify, develop and update processes, evaluate/review processes and identify improvements and provide or coordinate process education to the organisation and then to implement and support the processes. Furthermore, the position involves taking part in improving our existing KPI/metrics in all product realization phases and in particular, the improvement of measuring and analysing our metrics regarding non-conformances (failure/problem reports).
The position involves assisting our current Process Manager with process management activities and supporting the maintenance, updating of our current Business Management System.
Your qualifications
You ideally have knowledge about quality assurance and process as a background and should have had at least some experience in working with processes. Experience in working with databases (such as ClearQuest) and applications such as SharePoint and FrontPage will be an added advantage.
As a person, your most important characteristic is that you are proactive, self- driven and have the ability to create positive energy.
You should also be structured and organised. You have good communication and interpersonal skills, as an important part of this job is to work with people and educate, support and guide them in understanding and using our processes in a more efficient way. Since we are working in an international environment, a good knowledge of English is a requirement.
