Director Marketing Communication and Activation The world is changing and so is the transport industry. As our products and services develop, so do our marketing and communication strategies. Volvo Trucks is now looking for a Director within Marketing Communication and Activation to strengthen our team and develop global communication and marketing activities. Are you ready for the challenge?What we offer you:You will have the possibility to lead the team that today is the engine driving global MarCom activities. You will belong to the Brand, Marketing and Communication department, reporting to the Vice President of Global Marketing. You will work closely with a team of passionate and engaged MarCom managers and cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders. This is a new position which means that you will have the opportunity to further develop it.Position DescriptionYour most important task is to inspire your team to take the lead in omni-channel communication initiatives and ensure that deliveries are timely, relevant and in-synch with the global communication strategy, plan and channels. You will allocate resources and formulate processes based on current structures, best practices and the needs of the business. The team, together with you, is responsible forInitiating, developing and executing activation planPR, commercial communication, branding and positioning initiativesContent developmentBudget and resourcesNetwork and stakeholdersDelivering on defined communication targetsWho are we looking for?A holistic view and the ability to challenge current ways of working within MarCom are the most important requirements for this role. You should be able to lead in change, inspire others and approach your work in a structured and results-oriented manner. You are comfortable working with people at all levels and have a sound understanding of the business and the needs of our customers.
