At Global Bus Technology (GBT) function we are proud to navigate and lead Volvo Buses transition into the future of sustainable transports.
You and your team are part of Product and Project Management team, part of GBT, where we are responsible for the Global Project portfolio. You will manage the Start Cost project Portfolio and your team of Chief Project Managers and Project Assurance Managers will drive our major projects. This portfolio should secure that we have a competitive and desirable products that our customers appreciate.
You are passionate about Cross Functional collaboration and believes that it secures the best solutions and deliveries. You understand that delivering on time with quality is important to be successful in the Global Competition. To stay relevant you must understand that Continuous Improvement is needed in processes and way of working.
You will contribute to customers success by having these core responsibilities:
Lead and manage the team of Chief Project Managers and Project Assurance Managers
Formulate and drive the strategy for and with the team
Prepare and being a member of the Start Cost Project Steering Council (SPSC)
Being a role model for collaboration and cross functional work by working closely with your peers in solving different topics
Support and coach the project managers to make it possible for them to successfully drive their projects
Drive improved processes and ways of working
Being an engaged member of the Product and Project Management team
Contribute to develop the project managers and their knowledge
