We're growing and are now on the lookout for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our motley crew of curious, growth minded and all around nice people.
About the role
At Zimpler you will work in all digital acquisition channels across Search Engines, Social and Display Advertising as well as exploring new opportunities for finding new customers and leads. Your goal will be to drive ROI on our marketing activities and make sure the strategy supports Zimpler's overall targets, goals and objectives. You are passionate about growth and running experiments to increase conversion rate and conversion volume while working hand in hand with the in house creative team and external partners within all Performance Marketing channels.
You will partner across our Product, Analytics, Design, and Marketing Teams to drive initiatives, champion channel best practices, and lead data-based decision-making. Key factors for success will include comfort with data analysis and a willingness to dive in and execute - as well as to find smart ways of visualizing actionable insights.
Reporting to Head of Marketing Creative and Innovation, this is a high visibility role that directly influences the company's growth trajectory.
Things you'll be responsible for
• Plan, test, monitor and optimize acquisitions and conversion funnel to deliver efficient return on investment
• Determine and run the paid user acquisition strategy (Paid social, Search), working with agencies and contractors
• Together with the Creative Team optimize experiences for paid channels
• Build on brand marketing assets and implement campaigns, adjust bids, and monitor performance.
• Translate data-driven insights into meaningful and measurable recommendations
• Develop reporting structure for performance marketing channels
• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify the best value proposition for advertising campaigns and optimize various stages of the conversion funnel at all times
• Manage individual contributors and/or performance agencies
• Explore and report on new media channels off and online.
• Support the business as necessary.
Things you are really good at
• Acquisition marketing to consumers, including SEM, Paid social and landing page optimization. Experience from other performance channels are a plus.
• Passionate about testing new channels and optimizing campaigns through relevant metrics such as CTR, CPA, ROI etc.
• Analytically minded and a creative thinker who can strategize and execute on A/B tests within campaigns; experience in SQL is strongly recommended. Experience working with Segment, Snowflake, Google Analytics is strongly preferred
• Marketing Automation, CRM and sales management are a plus
And you are definitely
• Someone that embraces change, learns from mistakes, and can move quickly.
• Experience from a growth-oriented startup is a plus
• You are entrepreneurial, proactive and like solving problems.
• A great communicator
• You have 4+ years of experience from a similar position
