Your role is to promote and position OURWAY Tours as a prominent bespoke tour operator within Scandinavia. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing a strategy on how we should improve our brand image and increase market awareness while ensuring that our content and communications have a consistent and valuable message. This includes both written and visual communication. This role requires a deep understanding of how to thrive on the top social networks and experience with search engine optimization (SEO). You will make sure that our digital channels are filled with relevant and engaging content that will present our products in ways that look to strengthen our brand and boost our sales. You are also responsible for analyzing and optimizing our digital presence.

As a person, you love to use your creativity both to engage users and to find ways to cut through the noise. In this role, no day will be the same, one day you will be editing last year's tour descriptions and the next you will be overseeing a video ad production, with no budget. Editing and writing will be an essential part of your everyday job. You will be expected to write anything from a two-word social media post to a six-hundred-word website article, as well as creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the audience. You will also be in charge of our website and will work closely with our website developers improve the site. You have to be a jack of many trades.

A unique part of the role is that you will create new innovative tours. Our products are a big part of our brand, they are unique and what make us special. Thus your job will be to continuously explore new possibilities to develop additional tours. You will write learning materials for our guides.

Craft and implement our digital strategy
• Work towards agreed upon goals both for quantity, quality and performance for our digital channels. These include sales targets.
• Analyse and optimize performance in all digital channels
• Generate brand awareness, improve our brand image and increase market awareness
• Report performance on agreed upon KPI's to the CEO weekly and monthly
• Create new tours and write new learning materials for our guides
• Create both text, images and video content to all our channels
• Write, edit and proof-read quality written content
• Create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate our audience

Website
• Improve and optimize our presence on search engines such as Google
• Make sure our website is up to date with everything from tour-hours to facts to images
• Work with our developers to improve the website continuously
Social Media
• Create and improve our presence on social media sites, which include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and fill them with dynamic written, graphic, and video content
• Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on our sites, and encourages audience participation

Other
• Create entertaining and informative content and promotional materials
• Write and distribute newsletters to subscribers, customers as well as resellers and partners
• Monitor digital channels and handle any concerns that may affect a company's image or profit
• Study industry best practice, emerging networks and any trends that may affect us
• Schedule promotional shoots/video shoots and coordinate with vendors
• Study direct and indirect competitors

REQUIREMENTS

To suite this role it is important that you:
• Are fluent in English & Swedish, with excellent writing and editing skills in both languages
• Have the ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
• Have social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Have knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Have SEO experience
• Have a positive attitude and be customer oriented
• A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
• Great research, organizational, and learning skills
• High comprehension of various IT software and be familiar with MAC applications
• Some experience with online marketing and lead generation
• Ability to identify target audience preferences and trends
• An understanding of formatting articles on the web
• Some experience analyzing digital data
• Some experience implementing a digital strategy

OURWAY Tours is a start-up company founded in 2011. The company operates as a bespoke tour operator, specializing? in public and private tours within Scandinavia - and its capitals Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. The purpose of OURWAY Tours is to show people visiting Scandinavia; its people, places, and culture - the local way.

OURWAY Tours have three full-time employees located at our office in Gamla stan, Stockholm. The headquarter facilitate the everyday operation of the business with the primary roles present being Sales, Marketing, and Finance. The company also has several part-time employees who operate the daily tours that OURWAY Tours provide to its customers.
