hela Sverige We are currently recruiting a Development Engineer to the Naphthenic Technical Development and Market Support Department, Chemical Industry(CMI), based in Nynäshamn, Sweden
Key responsibilities
As the Development Engineer CMI you will independently be responsible to support the projects within your area of responsibility. Together with the technical manager and the technical advisors you will suggest investigation methods and propose working plans for your projects.
In this roleyou will be fully responsible for projects related to the short to mid-term development and optimization of our process oils and their performance in our CMI applications. You will ensure that projects are executed in a timely manner, set correct priorities and make sure the work is in line with the QA system. The role includes to a large extent literature searches, experimental planning and execution, interpretation of data from internal and external laboratories and reporting. You will guarantee an efficient and correct handling and follow up on customer questions within your area of responsibility. Another important task for this position is to assure that the results from the executed projects are distributed both within the organisation and to external contacts as decided. You will also contribute to campaign work and marketing projects.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate has an academic degree in Chemical Engineering. A genuine interest in chemistry, laboratory work, and conducting technical investigations is prerequisite for the position holder. Previous experience from, adhesive, ink, polymer or related chemical industries as well as academia is meriting. Well developed IT knowledge with skills in MS Office and Lotus Notes are also required. You need to be fluent in English, and basic knowledge in Swedish is meriting.
