hela Sverige In the growing technical complexity within the Radio Product area, there is the constant challenge of developing new products, with higher integration, improved performance, better energy efficiency, lower cost, supporting new scenarios and features with an increasing number of frequency variants and requirement of replacing old products.
You will work with Strategic Product Management, Customer Units and Design teams all over the world to secure that we offer an optimized Radio solution that meet our customer needs. This includes new features, improved characteristics of the products.
The position covers the complete breadth of the RBS System Architecture, the Radio Architecture and Radio Product requirements, characteristics, and HW/SW design.
You are expected to show strong leadership capabilities and determination to create and get acceptance for the plans outside and within the Radio Organization and show the direction of future Radio Products, leading teams with dynamic team setup, focusing on useful and implementable results of studies.
You, as the successful candidate for the role:
Will be working in an international team of world class radio developers including some of the key authorities and thought leaders world-wide on mobile communication
Will together with the team drive the long term Radio Development plan and do technical System Analysis from Radio Network level to Radio Product level
Will be part of the definition of the standards of the mobile technology used by billions of people worldwide
Will have the opportunity to gain expertise in the wireless system making you attractive also for other parts of the company, including possibilities for an international career
Your qualifications:
Master's or PhD degree in Wireless Communications, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or similar technical field
5-10 years of experience working with radio network solution with focus on the near antenna products
Your abilities:
Excellent knowledge in advanced antenna systems, including beamforming solutions
Excellent knowledge in Radio Network solution and 3GPP Radio area
Strong analytical skills, eagerness to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
Can take initiatives, strong personal drive.
Like to work in an environment where you cooperate closely in a diverse team of colleagues, together striving to fulfil common targets.
Can communicate with people and find it easy to explain your findings and knowledge to others.
