China Euro Vehicle Technology, CEVT, is a development centre for future cars of the Geely Group. CEVT covers all aspects of passenger car development - from the total architecture, to powertrain and driveline components, to top hat engineering as well as the vehicles' exterior design. We currently have the following job opening;

Design Engineer - Interior Lighting

As a Design Engineer you are working with the development of components and systems within one of CEVT's module teams within Interior. You will develop and design the components in CAD.

Responsibilities and tasks
• Developing and designing components and systems that meet requirements
• Securing packaging feasibility within given frames in accordance with the vehicle packaging engineers
• Supporting the defined release routines and release plans

Requirements
• B.Sc. eng. or similar
• Deep experience of CAD modelling, preferable CATIA V5
• Experience of light simulation tools, preferable SPEOS
• Experience of working with PLM systems, preferable Teamcenter
• Relevant experience from development of components and systems within Interior (Plastic design)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for the specific system areas
• Ability to work in cross functional teams
