As a Design Engineer within the organization Exhaust System Design you will play an important role in developing the next generation Exhaust Systems. We are facing exciting challenges with new products and new ways of working together with other brands within the Traton group.
In this position at the group Exhaust Components you will work in cross-functional teams with the goal to optimize and develop the exhaust components with regards to several product properties such as emission performance, acoustics, weight, durability and cost. You will work closely with simulation and test engineers and together perform development iterations as well as plan the testing and validation of your product.
The group is an engaged and motivated team consisting of 6 designers and 2 object managers with responsibility of design for exhaust routing (connecting the engine to the silencer and all outlet directions) and urea installation (routing urea hoses to the injection point on the engine).
Is this you?
• You have a B.Sc./M.Sc. in mechanical design, material technology, structural mechanics or equivalent
• You have experience of working in Catia
• You have a couple of years of relevant working experience
• You know English in both speech and writing, Swedish is not a requirement but an advantage
• You are a creative, analytic, supportive and open-minded team member who loves working towards common goals
• You have or are interested in working with simulation-driven design
