About this opportunity
Welcome to the Data & Analytics Engineering team. We add value by providing data governance & quality that empower data-driven decision making. The Data Steward plays an important role by ensuring the quality and fitness for purpose of the organization's data assets, including the metadata for those data assets. The Data Steward will be part of a team with high Power BI experience, and will use Power BI as tool for monitoring Data Quality.
What you'll be doing:
* Work together with the Data Asset Owner as an SME on the data content and tasks that belong to the Data Asset Owner
* Develop Power BI reports for Data Quality Insight and Alerting
* Work together with business users and data & analytics development
You'll join a team with high Data Governance & Quality competence. The role is based in Helsinki, Oslo, Copenhagen or Stockholm.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Have an good understanding of data management and/or data governance principles and data quality needsBring a solid understanding of the banking industry and experience from working within the business area of Nordea Finance products
* Strong communication skills and fluent in English (professional level)
Nice to have:
* Experience with Data Governance / Data Quality tools used in Nordea
* Experience with Power BI as data quality reporting tool
* Experience with Database models
Your experience and background:
* Data Governance & Data Quality
* Bachelor degree/University degree or equivalent experience
