About the AI Enablement Program

The AI Enablement program's mission is to improve Schibsted's maturity in successfully applying AI technologies throughout the company. This will be done by offering training to boost competence, building a community of practitioners that can learn and inspire each other, guiding and helping brands explore the use of AI in their products, and collaborating with academia and top researchers in relevant fields to develop new technologies that can be used in Schibsted's products.

About the role

As a lead for the new AI Use Case stream you will drive the effort of adding AI in our products. In the job you will meet a large variety of products, domains and teams and apply a wide range of machine learning models.

Through this role you will work closely with the brands and teams to identify and develop AI products and services. You will help brands decide whether AI is suitable for their problem, propose and develop relevant models and training pipelines, and enable the team to maintain and iterate on the model after the initial launch.

Together with the other workstream leads and core team in the program you will also in this role increase the general knowledge of AI in Schibsted through development and rollout of an AI training program where we will enable developers and product managers to use machine learning models in their products.

Responsibilities

-
Identify and evaluate feasibility of proposed projects: Is machine learning a sensible solution here (?), availability and quality of data, feasibility of data to train AI models, degree of match between feasible AI models and the problem to be solved

-
Developing the AI product together with the team: providing guidance and contributing hands on through different phases of AI/ML projects from early problem identification to proof of concept and live tests.

-
Help AI/ML projects in Schibsted select appropriate approach, including: tools, algorithms and production platforms

-
Establish and lead Schibsted's AI use case stream, prioritising which projects the stream should help and matching needs with the capabilities of the connected data scientists.

-
Take part in and contribute to our Schibsted AI Academy with your knowledge and expertise

-
You have technical knowledge of AI and the practical application of ML-methods with experience of creating a wide variety of machine learning products, preferably both in small and large scale settings.

-
You have a deep understanding of machine learning and statistical modelling and are able to identify an appropriate model and how to utilise this model to the new domains and problems you encounter.

-
You have hands-on experience with a variety of modelling frameworks and data processing tools such as Pytorch, scikit-learn, Tensorflow, spark and pandas. You also know the strengths and weaknesses of each tool and in which situation each tool is most useful.

-
You have experience in deploying models in production and understand the importance of tracking performance and continuous A/B-testing and improvement.
