We try to make information open and readily available, but scammers, scripters, and scrapers are always trying to take advantage of our system. We are always looking for ways to improve detection of anomalous and unusual activity. You, as a Data Scientist will be responsible for collecting, organising, analysing and interpreting data to generate insights and conclusions about fraud patterns. You will be using the latest techniques in machine learning for detecting fraudulent activities and developing capabilities to prevent them. Your skillsExperience in different Machine Learning disciplines, eg anomaly detection, fraud detectionFamiliarity with user and code authentication and authorization systems is a big advantageAbility to dig deep into large data sets to uncover insights as well as anomaliesExperience with data visualisation and dashboard creationStrong knowledge of data querying languages such as SQL/HiveProgramming knowledge of at least one language of Java/Scala/PythonExperience with open-source/Hadoop ecosystem a big advantageGreat attention to detail and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenWe all act according to our company values - Get Sh*t done, Be Fearless, Help Each Other and Never Give up and expect you to as well!
