Your role
Saab Surveillance Design are searching for passionate Data Engineers to join our teams in Stockholm and Gothenburg covering, to define and build scalable data solutions. Different levels of seniority can be of interest. The ideal candidate has industry experience working on a range of data engineering challenges and data management frameworks.
Responsibilities
*
Perform necessary data transformations to serve products empowering data-driven decision making.
*
Build and manage data pipelines, design and architect databases.
*
Design, implement, integrate and document systems or components for data flows or applications.
*
Ensure best practices and standards in our data ecosystem are shared across teams.
*
Engage with internal platform teams to prototype and validate tools to derive insight from large datasets or automate complex algorithms.
Your profile
Essential Qualifications:
*
BS or MS in Computer science, Statistics, Operations Research, Informatics, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
*
3+ years of relevant industry or academia experience working with large amounts of data
*
Experience with SQL/Relational databases
*
Strong software development experience with C++, Python, or other programming languages
*
Communication and teamwork skills, fluent in Swedish and English
Desirable skills
*
MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
*
Experience in developing data pipelines
*
Experience with data modeling, ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load) concepts, and patterns for efficient data governance.
*
Experience in data visualization and dashboard design using tools such as Tableau, Visualization packages, streamlit, D3 etc.
*
Data Security and access control.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
