In short
As a Data Analyst at Detectify, your mission will be to understand and turn information into valuable insights that can help make better business decisions. You will work together with a product manager, designers and engineers in a cross-functional product team specialised at solving customer needs in a specific area, and you will promote a data driven mindset throughout that journey.
The Data Team

You will sit together with one of our cross-functional teams within the Attack Surface Discovery product area. Their mission is to help our customers discover their externally exposed attack surface and what assets, technologies and ports they are exposing to the internet that could be open for hacker attacks.
You will also be part of the Data team, which works horizontally throughout the company to promote a data-driven culture and its mission is to enable other teams by providing access to information and recommendations to promote impactful decisions. You will be supported by the central data team with data engineering and data science if the need arises, and you are also expected to share your insights with the data team and take part in shaping the data organisation to better adapt to the needs of product teams across the company.
What you will get to do as a Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst in one of our product teams, you will have the responsibility to foster a data-driven approach to the development of our product.
Together with the product manager and product designer, you will be responsible for:
understanding user behaviour
performing analysis and using statistical tests to support data-driven decision making and product development
defining, measuring and maintaining product metrics and KPIs
create and communicate insights to your fellow team members
You will build and maintain content in self-service analytics platforms like Looker. You will also build and maintain data models in production using SQL and perform data analysis with Python (using packages such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
Who you are
Your education is in statistics, computer science, economics or similar quantitative disciplines.
You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with some or all the tools and platforms mentioned above.
You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in small to medium sized SaaS-companies.
You are confident in data modelling using SQL, building content in a self-service analytics platform and performing data analysis in Python.
You are a creative person who sets and achieves goals in a collaborative and stimulating environment.
You evaluate and reflect on your own solutions and seek recommendations to improve your skills.
You embrace bi-directional feedback and share the mentality that collaboration is important to achieve high-quality team output.
You are great at communicating and you are comfortable explaining complex methods and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Remote work
This position is for the Stockholm office. We offer remote working, with access to our office in central Stockholm. We think you should be able to work from anywhere but for tax reasons we need you to be located in Sweden, and we are more than happy to help you relocate.
