The Cybersecurity unit at RISE is among the largest cybersecurity labs/group in Sweden, and the European leader in IoT security research, development, and standardization.
Our core areas of expertise are: IoT Security, Cloud Security, Communication Security, Access Control, and Secure Virtualization and Trusted Computing.
Now we need to expand our capacity, and we are therefore looking to welcome:
- 4 cybersecurity engineers with roles as ethical hackers and/or pen testers.
- 1 senior researcher with PhD in digital aspect of security and a strong research profile in the area.
In additional to a strong research environment, RISE Cybersecurity is the owner of The Cyber range, a cybersecurity test and demo arena in Stockholm. Here we offer a critical infrastructure grade security, that offers a trusted place for Swedish industry to learn and solve their cybersecurity needs. RISE Cyber Range, in addition to providing practical cybersecurity education, training and exercise, is an environment for state-of-the-art cybersecurity research and development. Learn more:

Who are you?
To be successful in the role as cybersecurity engineer, we believe that you have at least 3 years of experience in the field of IT/Cyber security. This includes experience in network security, various operational systems, servers, routers and virtualization (1-7 layers in general). We also believe that your experience has given you excellent understanding of penetration tools and techniques, as well as an understanding of coding (web, database, scripts, automation). It is an advantage if you also have;
- Certifications that show professional technical knowledge, such as CEH, OSCP or CSTP
- Personal security clearance.
- A master (or PhD) degree in computer science or cybersecurity.
For the position as senior researcher, we believe you have a PhD in Computer Science with focus on digital security, with an outstanding research profile in technical aspects of digital security, information security, cybersecurity, trust, privacy or AI Security. You have a good track record of participating in public funded projects as well as excellent skills in one of your favorite programming languages.
For both positions, excellent communication skills are a must (both verbal and scientific writing).
