The Country TCO supports Swedish ABB units in national and international export control and sanctions rules and regulations connected to their business in Sweden and all over the globe. The work will contain great variety. You can expect exciting challenges that cover a broad spectrum of issues in the trade compliance area. The Country TCO is the responsible representative of ABB Sweden towards the relevant national and international authorities. Country TCO functionally leads and advises the trade compliance responsible persons in the businesses, including centralized services regarding specific export control issues or cases, resolving the case at issue and functioning as the first level of escalation for cases that will be referred to the Country legal department or Group trade compliance staff.
If you want to work as Country TCO at ABB you need a university degree in Law/Engineering/ Economics or equivalent with a postgraduate degree in an appropriate area being beneficial. We believe that you have at least 10 years relevant industrial experience. You must have thorough knowledge of global trade regulations and technical expertise on a product portfolio and applied technologies similar to ABB's. You are communicative and have the ability to express yourself well in English. Swedish and other language skills are qualifying. On a personal level, you are a team player who appreciates working close to your co-workers but who is also willing to take leadership when required. At the same time, you do not hesitate to work on your own and you are a problem solver by nature who enjoys coming up with solutions.
