We are looking for a Controlling Manager, who is looking for new challenges to join a progressive and continuously changing environment to always strive for efficiency and to become a trusted business partner for our organization.
About the role
You will be responsible for consolidating and managing the P&L, ensuring forecast accuracy and delivery of budget target. Given the nature of our business model, the P&L mainly consists of marketing and overhead costs. You will make sure that overhead and marketing budgets are respected and that resources are used in the most efficient way given the company's objectives and priorities. You will manage a team of 3 controllers. This position reports to Malin Eklund, Director Controlling & Accounting,
About you
A trusted business partner with excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with people with limited financial understanding and to challenge people in a constructive way with different background and level.
A genuine leader to lead a team of 3 controllers, with results and solution-oriented mindset. Proactive and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
A structured controller that has experience or strong interest in change management, you will challenge existing ways of working, proposing and implementing new processes, analyses etc. Always striving for continuous improvements, in analyses as well ways of working.
More detailed responsibilities:
• Ensure correct reporting of spend on a monthly basis, in accordance with IFRS principles.
• Monthly follow-up of costs and analysis of gap vs budget. Prepare analysis and comments to present to CFO.
• Analyse and make recommendations of resource allocation based on company's objectives and priorities
• Coordinate budget process, ensuring proper data submission from the teams, challenging cost center owners when required.
• Guarantee respect for the yearly target of spend.
• Pro-actively identify and monitor risks and opportunities, recommend appropriate actions.
• Support the organization in understanding their spends, providing budget owners with necessary reports and analyses.
• Develop and implement financial training for the organization.
• Propose, develop and implement initiatives to improve cost monitoring.
• Responsible for planning and forecasting tool used for budgets
