You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. ABB HVDC Ludvika is seeking an experienced Construction HSE Coordinator to join the HVDC Field Operations team. In this role, your will be overall responsible for developing and establishing processes and routines for securing construction health and safety, BAS-P/ BAS-U within HVDC. You will cooperate closely with our design, quality and field operations departments in ensuring that legislations related to construction health and safety are taken into consideration and is complied with.

Main working tasks
• Develop, establish and follow-up processes and routines for construction health and safety, BAS-U within HVDC.
• Ensure that construction health and safety requirements are fulfilled and taken into consideration within HVDC design and field operations.
• Overall responsibility within HVDC for competence, processes and routines related to construction health and safety.
• Ensure that all relevant legislations related to construction health and safety are fulfilled and implemented into HVDC design and field operations processes.
• Document the processes and routines as necessary.

This role requires you to have relevant qualifications within the construction health and safety area, BAS-P/BAS-U. You should have relevant education within the area corresponding to a bachelor's or master's degree. Furthermore you should have a minimum of five years experience of working with construction health and safety related issues and of establishing health plans. It is also necessary to have experience of ISO and other related standards. You also need to have knowledge in MS office and administrational work as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Moreover, fluency in English and an openness to working internationally is regarded as an important qualification. It is also seen as an advantage if you have experience of construction, installation, commissioning or of HVDC systems. Experience of coaching or of managing people is also regarded as an advantage.
