Jeppesen is looking for a new crew member to co-pilot us towards Continuous Delivery. The successful candidate is goal-oriented and enjoys problem-solving, but still has an eye on the big picture. She/he must work well in an agile team and be very communicative and open. The new team member will be working with highly talented and experienced developers and configuration management specialists, having regular interaction with other teams, installation projects, and clients.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience of implementing and supporting continuous integration tools.
• Experience of supporting SCM process in organizations practicing component-based development.
Meriting experience:
• Keen supporter of the DevOps movement.
• Development in heterogeneous software ecosystems involving multiple programming languages, e.g., C, C++, Java, Python, and, the evergreen, Shell scripts.
• DVCS (Git, Mercurial)
• Maven, Gradle
• Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity
• Eclipse/RCP
• CMake
• GNU make
Your role:
• Driving change towards state-of-the-art tools and practices
• Constantly focusing on the replacement of in-house developed functionality with third-party tools and standards
• Automation of manual processes
• Reduction of the cycle time
