Is your next role within Supplier Management, combining your technical and commercial interest?

Our Component Standardisation team is recruiting a Component Category Manager. You will be a member of our international team within the Supply Chain Operations Capital Equipment (SCO CE) Supplier Management Organisation, working in strong cooperation with suppliers providing value to Tetra Pak's customers through focus on Component Standardisation.

As Component Category Manager, you will be responsible for providing a world class commercial component assortment and supplier base to the machine platforms within Development and Engineering and being a trusted business partner by giving guidance on supplier selection. You will drive commercial component strategies that focus on cost, functionality and consolidation together with the Commercial Component purchasing team. You will report to the Manager, Component Standardisation in SCO CE SM, Commercial Component Management and you will be based in Lund, Sweden.

Main responsibilities
• Develop, implement and maintain Component Categories for your component assortments and secure that the supplier base/selection is in line with business requirements
• Take lead in securing that component master data is updated according to set standards
• Drive Supplier Base Improvements, focusing on quality, lead time and cost
• Build long-term relationships, defining agreement on cooperation and expectations between Tetra Pak and the suppliers
• Support and guide internal stakeholders regarding supplier and component selections

Qualifications

We are looking for a strong communicator who enjoys networking and team working. You easily build trust and strong relationships with external suppliers as well as with internal stakeholders. To achieve result is one of your strongest motivators. You have the ability to take on an overall view to analyse the situation and find the best alternatives and solutions.

To be successful in this position, we believe you have a technical university degree combined with experience from both a technical and commercial environment. Your technical interest is one of your biggest assets. You have previous experience from Purchasing, Product development and preferably, project management. Your English skills are excellent, written and spoken, and you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office and SAP or similar business software.
