Main mission
As a manager you will be responsible to lead a team of dedicated co-workers with the main task to secure that Procurement ensure keeping sufficient capacity availability as well as keeping competitive cost level.
You will be part of the group Commodity Procurement Interior within the department Cabin & Electronics (SC). Your responsibilities as part of this this team would be:
to lead the team responsible for purchase activities for components such as all kinds of Plastic, Seats, Interior panels, Beds, etc.
to take the role as an important stakeholder for the business and create good relationships with the supplier management
to be involved in Traton and Scania strategies, yourself and together with the team where it applies
to define Traton strategies on a higher level aligned in cooperation with your Traton colleagues
to cooperate closely with your project and quality colleagues
to cooperate closely with commodity community, contributing and developing procurement practices
Meet and delivery on business targets and metrics


You are, as a manager, responsible to lead, coach and develop your co-workers and they expect from you as their manager building trust, by listening, giving feedback and encouraging team spirit.
You will work in cooperation with Scania's development department, production units and procurement quality departments as well as other procurement teams within Scania and Traton group. You will be a part of the Management team of Commodity as well as bigger department Cab and Electronics management team working closely together.
Your profile
You're looking for an environment to grow where you need to take own initiatives and have the maturity and ability to handle multiple open cases and we believe that during your career, you achieved very good result from your skills and abilities in how you act as a leader.
To succeed in this role, it 's an advantage to have a proactive, structured and a flexible mindset. You have a strong commercial drive and are able to develop your team and business in an international environment with diversity high on your agenda.
Your work includes a lot of interactions in different levels cross functionally. It is therefore important that you have the ability to collaborate, build trust and manage communication with others. You shall have a high level of integrity, good judgment and work according to the Scania values and leadership principles. You are proficient in written and spoken English.
