SKF Motion Technologies (SMT), a stand-alone business recently acquired by Triton, is a global provider of electrical linear actuator components- and systems as well as linear motion products, including high end medical and industrial actuators and roller screws. Over the next 5 years we see a rapid growth of business, electromechanical products indeed being products of the future, and our product portfolio needs to be renewed and adapted to capture that potential. The product management team is a vital part in growing and shaping our future. As a part of the team, you are a key contributor to the strategy and the products' positioning in the market and will be qualifying and prioritizing all initiatives to fulfill strategic goals, as well as serving with fast customizations and continuously improving the design of the existing product portfolio. Your day-to-day work

• Handle and qualify new requests with speed, quality and according to strategy
• Commercial product lifecycle management, to ensure product portfolio continues to develop in the right direction as the market needs shift
• Initiate and lead customer offer initiatives and secure relevant and correct information are provided for internal realization
• Work closely with technical product managers to ensure the qualified priority can be internally realized in terms of technical development and capacity
• Be responsible for pricing and profitability of all agreed business, forecasting of order book, and to manage open and closure of products in the system
• Establish, maintain and develop communication channels with sales and keep our appearance and information relevant and attractive.
• Assist sales and actively simplify sales of existing offers through development of value proposition material, adapted to different markets and applications, as well as offering product trainings and demos
• Investigate lost business/offers and secure appropriate measures are taken and learnings communicated
• Assist global Product Management & Marketing in market analysis and assessments

We expect you to have

• Relevant higher education, MBA or MSc, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in successful customer management
• Ability to create and conclude a solid Business Case, incl. financial calculations
• Understanding of what drives cost and the impact on cost calculation and pricing
• Good electromechanical understanding, and an interest in new technologies, as IoT and Industry 4.0 is becoming reality for our products more and more.
• Good understanding of automation and production flows
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both writing and speaking

You need to be self-starting, analytical, hands-on and able to think of details as well as the big picture. It is also important that you possess communication skills and are able to discuss and challenge within your scope with key stakeholders and customers.
