Knowit has been a strategic partner for both Microsoft, Amazon and Google for a long time. It has given us the possibility to help organizations accelerate their journey to the cloud. knowit is now expanding our great cloud offerings and to support us in this, we are looking for several Cloud engineers that together with our other talented cloud consultants want to implement, configure and support different cloud solutions within AWS, Azure or GCP.
About the role
You will be responsible for supporting our clients with their journeys to the cloud by implementing, managing, and monitoring different cloud platforms.
You will work closely with our architects and developers in cross-functional agile teams. The goal is to set up cloud environments that are efficient, secure and delivers value for the customers where your expertise will play a big part in our cloud initiatives.
An example of day to day tasks:
• Setting up cloud services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud or a Microsoft Azure database, virtual machines and active directories for example
• Troubleshooting of networks, firewalls, virtual machines, databases and more on the target cloud platform.
• Setup hybrid solutions between multi-cloud platforms and/or on-prem solutions
• Support, managing and monitoring the cloud infrastructure/ platforms.
• Automation and service improvement of repetitive tasks, monitoring and reporting.
Who are you?
You are working as a cloud engineer or similar today and have done it for the past two years. It is meriting if you have one or several Cloud certificates within one or more cloud technologies Azure, AWS or GCP or the equivalent documented experience with successful projects and are on your way to become certified.
We would also like to see that you have a relevant education within IT or similar and that you are fluent in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
As a person you are driven and like to solve problems. You are innovative, open to new ideas and like to share your knowledge. You have good communication skills and master Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Furthermore, you are service-minded and always have the customers' best interest at heart. Since you will be working in teams and deliver high-quality solutions it is important that you can work together with others.
