About this opportunity:
Are you prepared to lead the charge in revolutionizing the future of mobile networks? As a Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Delivery (CD) Architect at Ericsson Packet Core, your expertise will be the driving force behind the development of cutting-edge, cloud-native 5G core networks. In this pivotal role, your technical knowledge and passion for cloud native development will be the cornerstone for reaching Packet core's Cloud Native ambitions.
Your expertise will shape the critical architectural decisions that ensure our CI & CD solution is not only high-quality but also high-performing and developer friendly.
What you will do:
• Architectural Vision: Develop and maintain an architectural vision for how to apply Cloud Native CI&CD flow to Packet Core products, making critical decisions on architecture design.
• Strategic Planning: Defining the CI&CD strategy and roadmap for Packet Core products. Work with stakeholders to align the 5GC test strategy with business goals, focusing on current challenges for our global customers.
• Technical Leadership: Lead the technical direction of the CI & CD domain. Drive with Proof of Concepts to ensure the development of high-quality, high-performance solutions.
• Innovation and Improvements: Create of innovative solutions, critical for maintaining our technology leadership. Ensure new innovations are patented.
• Mentorship and Coaching: Work actively with coaching and sharing knowledge in the area of expertise.
• External Engagement: Build and maintain a professional network with peer technology authorities within and outside Ericsson, representing the organization in high-stake technical discussions with customers and academia.
The skills you bring:
• Extensive experience with proven good results for creating CI pipeline architecture requirements.
• Excellent communication skills English skills, both written and oral.
• Knowledge about the 4G/5G Packet Core products
• Deep knowledge about test frameworks, tools, technology stack and product architecture enabling efficient Cloud Native development, integration and delivery.
• A strategic mindset, an ability to align technical decisions with business goals, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation in a highly competitive industry.
• A passion for and strong ability to coach and sharing your knowledge .
• A professional network within DevOps and Cloud Native communities.
• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Mathematics or the equivalent level of knowledge.
