Wrknest is now looking for a Chief Risk Officer to Nordfin Capital to their office in Stockholm. Nordfin Capital was founded in Sweden in 2018 and is now also established in Norway and Finland. This role is the first one in a newly started department. This department will be responsible for following directives, including AML, KYC and operational management of risk, set by the Credit Committee. As the first person, setting the foundations and building a team along the way, you will have a huge impact on Nordin's future success. You will report to CTO and the Credit Committee and have close collaborations with the CPO and CTO.
The position is direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process takes place through Wrknest but you will be employed directly at Nordfin Capital.
Your future responsibilities
You will be the one setting the foundation for the credit and risk management at Nordfin. That is, you will be the first one in the team, working operationally, setting the strategies, as with time, you will build and manage a team with more talented people in the area.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Overall risk management, including tools, reporting, templates, scoring tools, specifications, tests etc.
• Collect external and inhouse analysis, areas of improvement and collaborate closely with the Product department to initiate development initiatives.
• That the risk directives are followed by the internal employees.
• Support all departments with optimizing their effectiveness in the relevant IT tools, as well as analysis, reports etc.

Requirements
• Operational and strategic experience within risk management
• Solid understanding in working with big data sets
It is a big plus if you have technical skills like creating reports and SQL.
