UX and HMI department has a purpose to deliver best-in-class user experience for Volvo CE products across the globe, to be the pioneer in delivering Intelligent and Intuitive HMI, and, above all, to have Customer centricity is in the heart of everything we do. We are now taking up product management responsibilities for relevant areas and are looking for a Chief Project Manager User experience to lead, coach, and inspire this team to great achievements. If you enjoy coaching, collaboration, and problem-solving together with highly skilled professionals, this is the position for you!
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for a cross-functional project team whose task is to deliver the next generation of UX solutions with the right quality, functionality, and cost. You will be a member of the UX and HMI Program leadership team and contribute to the continuous development of the whole program organization. You will also be deeply involved in defining the future UX strategy and building strategic collaborations with partners both internally with Volvo Group and external suppliers.
Who will you share your working days with?
You will be part of a diversified and dynamic team with a mix of different genders, personalities, and nationalities. The global UX and HMI team is mainly situated in Sweden and Bangalore, however, we also work with extended Volvo CE teams in Korea, China, Germany, USA
Who you are?
You have a strong drive and leadership skills and the ability to inspire teams and coordinate project deliveries. You have a positive can-do attitude, and you have the structure and organizational skills to plan project deliverables as well as strategic roadmaps. You probably have experience in project management or similar roles in agile project models.
You have a technical background in relevant fields such as Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical engineering education. Knowledge and experience in UX and HMI system development are a must.
Good proficiency in English spoken and written is a requirement since the project will operate in a global and multicultural environment and with a global team.
