The Chief Medical Officer at Byon8 will be responsible for managing the medical department and ensure that the targets of other departments are medically relevant. The medical department focuses on building a medical library for our digital products using the latest evidence in medicine. It has also the responsibility to ensure that all partners and stakeholders are sufficiently useful for the clients and the company.
The CMO must be an ambitious, self-motivated Medical Doctor (MD) with high energy, ability and drive to develop, accomplish and follow up on different medical projects and tasks. He must also have good leadership qualities, patience and confidence as well as an extensive experience in both medical and management roles.
Core responsabilities:
• Provide medical and scientific expertise to the software and growth departments
• Set and develop strategies and works strategically to realise company goals with respect to available resources and priorities
• Assigning roles and monitoring Key Performance Indicators of the medical team members
• Recruit, mentor and manage all partner doctors and be responsible for their performance.
• Ensure that customers receive the highest standard of digital medical care.
• Ensuring that all digital healthcare regulations and safety standards are met.
• Keeping staff updated on new digital healthcare regulations.
• Deals with ambiguity and making positive use of the opportunities it presents
• Make the medical department a personal and professional growth mediated environment for all members
• Authorize and lead all clinical and epidemiological AI research involving our company
Report to the CEO
Core requirements:
• Master of Science in Medicine: background of a medical doctor
• Problem-solving mindset: you think like an engineer, that is, you have the ability to break down problems and work from there
• Knowing how, or willing to learn how to make medical information computer-friendly
• Create, improve and maintain medical databases
Scope: Full-time employment
Salary: Based on individual assessment
