Are you interested in both technology and to work in an international environment? The Certification & Compliance team at Quality & Customer Satisfaction is now looking for a Certification Engineer within the Safety area (crash, lights, EMC, alarms etc.)
The safety team consists of five engineers who is responsible for leading, planning and executing certification of our future vehicles. You will work in close cooperation with the R&D teams as well as Authorities and Technical services from all around the world, which give your tasks an interesting, international flavor with possibilities to travel! Main responsibilities
* Prepare and manage the certification activities, including coordinating and leading meetings prior to witnessed authority testing
* Perform the certification activities together with Technical Services or authorities.
* To issue certificates and other required documentation for the specific markets
* Achieve and maintain an in-depth competence regarding assigned requirements.
Required qualifications
* Higher technical education or equivalent
* Experience from product development and/or verification/testing
* High standard and commitment to deliveries
* Excellent planning skills
* Fluent English (spoken and written)
* Driver's license
Meritorious qualifications
* Experience from Volvo Cars development process
* Experience from Verification, Testing or Attribute work
* Experience from Interior, Exterior, Electrical or Chassis development
Personal qualities
* High integrity and professionalism
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Business and performance driven
* Ability to independently drive change and overcome obstacles
