At Sydkraft AB we are currently looking for an experienced category manager to manage the Corporate Service and Labor category in Sweden.
In this role you will be part of our international Indirect Procurement organization with approx. 15 people in 4 countries. The category manager will be reporting to the Vice President Corporate Services & Labor.
What will you do?
You will be actively engaging and leading contract negotiation, communicate and cooperate with our suppliers and internal key stakeholders. You will be developing and deploying the category strategy in line with the overall procurement & business strategy.
Other activities include:
• develop strong relationships and collaboration with key stakeholders in the organization to learn the business needs
• identify saving opportunities & other relevant levers to deliver value and competitive advantage to Uniper
• leading analysis tasks on innovation strategy and sourcing options, and monitor successful implementation of identified levers.
• providing subject matter expertise to the wider business, bringing innovation from the outside world to help build a sustainable leading procurement function.
The position requires willingness to travel due to international suppliers and visits to Uniper offices in Europe.
Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure, thus we will carry out security clearance before employment. Drug test is also performed.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this position, the candidate should have a relevant degree related to procurement, and have several years' experience with a similar working environment/ function.
Additionally, we would like to see:
• Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills in combination with the ability to work independently
• Strong performance orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Experienced in stakeholder management and motivated to lead global as well as regional negotiations with our Suppliers and Stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, combined with a pragmatic approach and understanding of the stakeholders point of view
• Being fluent in English is a must. Other languages as Swedish and German would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba and SAP MM useful
