Would you like to join our central IMS Supplier Management team, creating our future global category strategies for factory equipment?
Tetra Pak Supply Chain Operations drive and optimize the global performance of our industrial base. The central Supplier Management team for Factory Capital Equipment is responsible of ensuring we have a high performing supplier base supporting this journey.
We are now looking for a Category Manager to strengthen our team in Lund.
In this role you will work in close cooperation with our business stakeholders, our cluster organisations and also our suppliers. You will be responsible for one or more of our global equipment categories including a number of suppliers, taking an active part in the creation and execution of our global category strategy. You will perform spend and market analysis, execute strategic sourcing projects, implement and manage contracts. You will lead and manage the global category network towards the set targets where you can heavily influence the activities and results.
In this position you will have a functional responsibility but not any direct reports. You will be travelling approximately 20% yearly.
Main Responsibilities
• Create and execute category strategies
• Lead global category networks
• Sourcing, contracting and management of existing supplier base
• Drive performance improvements focusing on quality, lead time and cost
• Drive Common Agendas with strategic suppliers, as part of a key stakeholder team
Qualifications
We are looking for a result oriented, driven and analytical candidate with a passion to do business. Your strong communication skills combined with your interpersonal capabilities enable you to easily interact across borders both internally and externally. We believe you have a solid Supplier Management background with strong commercial skills and a proven track record in negotiations, category management and supplier relationship management.
The successful candidate has a university degree preferably within Engineering or Economics in combination with at least 5 years experience from strategic sourcing and contracting. You have a good command in English, both written and verbal.
