The scope of buy is within the areas Chromated parts, Grill shutter,Grill etc.
The team is responsible to develop the supply base and commodity strategy as well as negotiate pricing with the objective to optimize cost.
Job Description:
• Lead yearly commercial negotiations with the objective to reduce cost and price for the area.
• Lead raw material negations for the area.
• Responsible to develop sourcing strategies and Commodity Business Plans within the area with the objective to optimize cost, technology and quality.
• Responsible to agree optimized cost models with dedicated suppliers.
• Align cost reduction priority areas and coordinate actions across the life cycle together with TVM, Program Purchasing and R&D.
• Actively support sourcing activities to ensure implementation of strategy and to achieve full leverage on current production price reduction.
• Coordinate activities with strategic suppliers across purchasing areas.
Qualifications:
• Purchasing experience from the automotive industry is mandatory.
• University degree in business, engineering or equivalent is desired.
• Very strong negotiation skills is needed.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills is desired.
• Very good over all communication skills is needed including: strong excel and power point skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment is needed.
• Ability to organize work within the commodity team is needed.
• Positive, nothing is impossible mindset is highly desired.
