Buyer, IT & Professional ServicesOur purchasing team, based in Gothenburg and Barcelona, manage all sourcing and procurement for Lynk & Co in Europe. We work very closely with our various business teams and play a key role in the growth and profitability of the company. We are now looking for an experienced Buyer of IT & Professional Services.
Location: Gothenburg
What you'll do
Source and procure tech-related consulting services, including temporary workforce, projects/work packages, and other strategic services such as software, managed/outsourced services, and payment services
Collaborate and communicate proactively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure early involvement and support the business in achieving TCO-based cost reductions and other improvements
Plan and lead sourcing projects, contract negotiations, and related activities
Provide relevant supplier market information, trends, and cost/value drivers to develop optimal supplier and sourcing strategies, contract and pricing models, and conduct effective negotiations
Optimize contracts within the scope, working closely with the Lynk & Co legal team
Develop and communicate efficient procurement practices, including buying guides, templates, and ways of working
Contribute to the overall development and continuous improvement of the purchasing function, including the development of new tools and processes
Ensure compliance with policies and processes through governance and stakeholder training
As part of a small and agile team in a fast-growing company, be prepared to engage in a range of activities, from strategic to operational, and support areas beyond your regular responsibilities
What you should have
Extensive experience in a similar role, specifically in IT sourcing, including professional services and software
Relevant university degree
In-depth knowledge of supplier markets, trends, and best practices
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of managing challenging supplier and stakeholder discussions professionally and constructively
Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to new situations and rapid changes
