hela Sverige Business Unit Networks Sourcing (BNET Sourcing) has the responsibility for defining and executing sourcing and component engineering services. The organization supports overall BNET business objectives by establishing a supplier and component base that delivers competitive pricing while maintaining high quality, flexibility and delivery precision.
The organization consists of 350 employees globally on 9 sites in 7 countries, among them Sweden, China and the United States.
BNET Sourcing is looking for a Project Manager / Sourcing Data Manager to our Operational Development team
A stimulating and challenging position in a global environment
As a Project Manager you will drive global process- and tools development- and implementation projects and act as Subject Matter Expert for one or several process areas. The development work is carried out in cross-functional work groups from business and IT. The goal of our team is to develop best in class processes and tools which supports the Sourcing organization in an efficient way, today and tomorrow. We want to find you who are eager to contribute to take our improvement work to the next level.
In parallel to your position as Project Manager you will also work as Sourcing Data Manager with responsibility to manage the component forecast process for Radio Base Station (RBS) products using our strategic sourcing tools. This is a truly critical role for the business since RBS is the largest product area and the forecasts are used both in project- and volume sourcing activities. A tight collaboration with Strategic Sourcing Managers, Demand- and Supply Planning units and the R&D community is necessary in order to secure the right data quality.
We believe you have some years of experience from process/tools development and implementation projects - either from management consulting or in a line organization. A background from logistic areas like product planning and/or procurement is an advantage but not a must. An academic degree (Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering or Economics) and fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English is a must.
As a person you are self driven and structured with a "get it done" approach. You combine analytical- and problem solving skills with strong communication skills to get the message out. You have an outgoing personality, can maintain your own network and are able to facilitate team work among different units within Ericsson. You are flexible and keen on learning new things and to improve your own and our business' way of working.
You will work in a global environment in close cooperation with the BNET Sourcing Management team, Category Managers and Strategic/Project Sourcing Managers, as well as units outside Sourcing. This is a diverse role which will give you a deep understanding of Ericsson's strategic sourcing process, product portfolio and tools. For the right candidate we offer many opportunities to grow in our organization. The pace of change in our business is high so continuous development of our people is a natural part of our daily work. The position is based in Kista but some traveling will be required.
