Business Operations is part of Business Management & Sales in BU Network Products (BNEP), and defines, drives and implement business activities to boost the output of the sales organization, including:

• Ensuring that the global sales organization operates effectively, efficiently and ultimately succeeds in reaching its business strategies and objectives.
• Enabling the organization to have a holistic and global view of the sales and customer trends and
• Working on the Global Sales Strategy for BNEP, alongside the Business Management
• Acting as an incubator for initiatives such as Channel Management.
• Driving and evolves the BNEP Competitive Intelligence Community (CI),
• Supporting the BNEP presales teams and regions with Competitive Benchmarking and Argumentation


Job Summary

As part of the Business Operations team, you'll have the opportunity to drive effectiveness and sales for Ericsson's Network Products BU, with a global view and impact. You will initiate and drive change within the BU and across the regions, and apply your analytical skills to identify actionable insights and improvement areas.

You will be responsible for supporting the BNEP sales through actionable Business Intelligence (BI) / Competitive Intelligence (CI), and by defining & driving sales boosting initiatives. You will also support the development and coherence of global sales strategies.

For BI / CI, you are responsible for developing actionable insights that have a clear path to boosting the output of our sales organization. This includes identifying and validating the business need, aggregating and analyzing data, and communicating relevant insights and recommendations. The main target recipients will be BU & region management to support decision making, our Business Management and regions to support positioning, and our Presales team in order to design smarter solutions and outsmart competition. You will leverage input and expertise from across BUs, regions and Group Functions, and use the full range of CI/BI tools (such as business performance management, benchmarking, predictive analytics, text mining).

You will also be responsible for structuring and driving high-priority projects on the BMS agenda (e.g. improving decision support, efficiency in w-o-w and processes). This includes diagnosing problems and identifying root causes, developing options for improvement measures, and driving initiatives to conclusion. You will also define and structure sales programs towards the regions or the BU, that further the global sales strategy and generate profitable growth.
For BNEP global sales strategies, you will support Business Management in shaping and continuously ensuring the relevance of the global sales strategy, and by bringing relevant BI / CI insights as input for strategy development.


Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Identify needs for, and execute on, BI & CI to deliver actionable insights and recommendations, including analysis of global sales and customer trends, and supporting and leveraging the CI community
• Support structuring sales programs towards the regions or the BU
• Structure and drive projects that supports the BMS priorities
• Drive and develop the communication of insights onto the BU and regions
• Support our Business Management in shaping our global sales strategies
• Support knowledge and learning transfer

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Science or similar
• Min 5-7 years in ICT business, project manager experience
