Business Excellence, Performance Management

Description of the unit

Business Excellence is a newly established unit within Group Function Business Excellence and Common Functions. The objective of the unit is to support and enable Ericsson?s transformation, to achieve superior business performance.

Business Excellence aims to do this through three disciplines: Performance Management, Strategy Execution and Business Process Improvements.

Performance Management?s focus is to increase transparency of the company?s performance, both short and long term, drive improvement in operational and financial performance and strengthen end-to-end accountabilities.

Job description

Develop and drive performance management through line organization, governance structure and group initiatives, addressing both operational and financial performance and measurement of performance, as well as executing special projects and tasks that is on the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) agenda.

The role offers a great deal of flexibility and a fast paced work environment, and is expected to effectively cover a range of responsibilities, including:

• Actively support/drive major change initiatives, such as our group initiatives

• Drive analysis of business critical issues that have major impact on Ericsson?s performance, in cooperation with other Ericsson units

• Lead and/or contribute to high profile projects reporting to our ELT

• Support in building and leading a team of high performing individuals with strong analytical and financial capabilities

• Coordinate and drive Ericsson?s Performance Management portfolio across all units; identify gaps and overlaps, enable sharing and active knowledge management

• Support in establishment of and evolve long term view of appropriate operational and financial performance indicators

• Develop methods and tools to support Performance Management at Ericsson

• Contribute to develop, improve and execute Ericsson?s target setting process and content

• Contribute to develop, align and simplify Ericsson?s governance structure/fora with strategy and ambitions

• Contribute to establishing all three disciplines (Strategy Execution, Performance Management and Business Process Improvement) of Business Excellence and strengthening BE capabilities across Ericsson, e.g., through facilitating Leadership Team workshops and coaching BE Leaders around the world

Qualifications

We believe you are strong contributor from day one as well as an emerging leader in Ericsson. You bring a good combination of talent, competence and experience:

• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and to bring people together in alignment
• Strong communicator, both written and orally
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Emerging leadership capabilities
• Experience from strategy execution programs and/or change programs, with both financial and operational improvement
• 2-6 years? experience from line management role and/or strategy/operational management consulting or similar experience
• University degree, MBA or M Sc. from leading institution
