Do you want to take the next step in your career with a market leading global company? FLIR Surveillance is now seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for selling Government Systems and Productsto Government end-users and defence OEM:s on the Eastern European Market.

In the role as Business Development Manager you will operate within FLIR: s FLIR's Surveillance division. You will have responsibility for product sales and proposals towards the governmental end users and the military industryintegrators and defence industry in Eastern Europe. In the role, you will be part of the sales cycle at the initial stages and have a responsibility for developing an action plans, continuously meeting clients and to building long lasting relations. Since the company has had a rapid growth over the last few years, a few processes and structures are under development and things can change quickly, therefore it is important that you are adaptable and comfortable in an ever changing and dynamic environment. In the this role, you will have great opportunities to influence your work, and opportunities for development within the company. The position is based in the Sweden.

We are looking for someone pragmatically, determined and goal oriented. With freedom comes responsibility and it will be necessary that you can work autonomously and solve issues when they arise. You will benefit from the ability to work at similar levels in European MoD environments and proven experience in selling high technology capital equipment, preferably infrared imaging systems to MoD and OEMs. Experience of selling through tenders and competitive bids will help you succeed in the role. Furthermore, we are looking for skills within international communication, negotiation, inter-personal relationships, sales presentations and strategies. You will set a sales forecast for the month, quarter and annually year to deliver the actions necessary for the required results. You are responsible for the communication and negotiations with the end users and decision makers and therefore should have an understanding for of the regional cultures and experience of complex business deals and tenders. As the sales process is long you are should be perseverant, like traveling aroundready to travel extensively within your territory and enjoy working through the entire process with the clientcustomer.
